Exotically spiced, crisp gingerbread fingers, irresistible when dunked into Port.
Ingredients: Wheat flour (wheat flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), margarine: palm fat; rapeseed oil; emulsifier: polyglycerol esters of fatty acids; flavouring; colour: annatto bixin, curcumin; sugar, partially inverted refiners syrup, pasteurised whole egg, ginger (1.8%), rum, mixed spices, raising agents: sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium hydrogen carbonate; salt, flavouring.

I have loved your gingerbread since I discovered it in the Museum shop in Ironbridge, & will be adding a packet to several Xmas gifts this year.
However,
I find your online order form too easy to stumble over (probably my fault) – forcing me to abandon it altogether
& buy elsewhere at a higher price.
Also, your name was not as well-known as expected when mentioned to locals at Market Drayton’s last gingerbread festival, & stockists have not been easy to find!

A delicious and complex flavour. The only reason for the 4, rather than a 5, is because of the rather excessive ingredients list which gives a slightly ‘chemistry experiment’ appearance to something which ought to be very natural and simple.
Anyway, it is a delicious product and should be more widely known.

Very gingery – I really like it, though my sister wasn’t so keen. It’s quite hard biscuit so you definitely need to dunk them. I’ve eaten with milky coffee, but not yet tried with port. Roll on Christmas!

This used to be some of the best gingerbread I have ever tasted and we buy it every year as a Christmas treat. it was not up to the usual standard this year and checking the ingredients I can see the recipe has changed and they use palm oil and margarine instead of butter.
