Privacy Policy

As a customer you are very important to us and we are committed to your privacy. Billington’s Gingerbread will only use information that we collect from you lawfully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. You can be assured that any and all information collected on this site will be held securely and kept strictly confidential. We will not sell or disclose to any third party organisation, unless required to do so by law. The information you provide us is purely used to process your order and to provide the best possible service, delivery of goods and to contact you if required to fulfill our obligation to you. We will use this information only for our own market research and statistical analysis purposes only. With your consent, Image on Food will contact you from time to time via our newsletter informing you about new products, promotions and special offers.

 Placing Orders

Placing an order could not be easier, click on any item that you wish to buy. After you have finished your selection you will be asked for a few details that we need to enable us to process your order. Orders can be placed on this site or over the phone. At Billington’s Gingerbread we are dedicated to total satisfaction, however products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to withdraw items due to unforeseen circumstances.

 Our right to refuse your order

We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order for any reason including without limitation and whether or not payment has been received by us, if: We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; We do not deliver to your area; or one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If we do refuse your order we will notify you by e-mail, and, will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered. Confirmation of received orders when you have placed an order a confirmation will be emailed to you. We ask you to check this carefully and if any changes are required please let us know immediately.

Delivery Times:

On products available for same day despatch please place your orders by 11:30pm to ensure same day posting.

We despatch Monday to Friday only, excluding Bank Holidays. If your order is received on a Friday after 11.30 this will then be posted on the following Monday. All individual gifts are sent Tracked 48 through the Royal Mail unless you choose Express – Next Day delivery option at the checkout. Royal mail advises delivery in 2-5 working days using standard first class. If you select express delivery the order will be received the next day after despatch and will require a signature. Please ensure that there is someone to accept delivery during weekday working hours. Larger orders are sent via courier service. All courier deliveries require a signature as prove of receipt, if there is no-one there to receive it the courier will leave notification detailing how to rearrange delivery, or where it can be collected. Courier service mainland UK is delivered between 8am – 6pm the next working day. Please note Northern Ireland, Channel Isles, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands and Scottish Highlands and Europe are on 2-3 day service. Our courier company guarantees their deliveries for next working day, but they can’t cover delays that are out of their control. And although we pass any specific delivery instructions on to them, we can’t guarantee that the driver will carry these out. Missed Delivery

Should delivery to the address not be possible, a card should be left by the carrier to inform the recipient how they can collect their parcel or to arrange re-delivery. It then becomes the recipient’s responsibility to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available, or if goods become unsuitable as a result of non-delivery. For orders that are collected we will not be held responsible for loss or damage once the biscuits have left our premises.

Payment Online

All payments will be processed by World Pay Card Save. We will debit the whole price of the goods from your preferred payment card at the time of the order. We have the right to terminate our agreement with you if you refused payment. In order for the payment process to run smoothly, the address details are required of the credit/debit card holder. This will then be used to validate the order. Incorrect details given will result in delaying the process of your order.

Credit Card Security

All credit/debit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. Numbers are not held on any computer.

Prices

We try to ensure our prices on the website are correct at all times. However, our products are subject to market forces and we reserve the right to change the prices at any time and without prior notification. If you have placed an order affected by a price change we will contact you and will not proceed with the order without your consent. We reserve the right to alter or remove any special offers from time to time and as necessary.

Guarantee

Cancelled or Amended Orders

As we work on a same day despatch service with the majority of our products any cancellations must be phoned through within 30 minutes of the order being placed. We reserve the right to charge cancellation fees if a cancellation is received after this time.

Returns

All our products are created to order and are of a very high quality, we can only offer a return or refund in exceptional circumstances, please make sure you order carefully. We MUST be notified of any breakages or shortages within 24 hours of your order being delivered.

Liability

Image on Food shall not be liable for any failure to deliver the products arising from circumstances outside of their control. We do not take any responsibility for the goods once delivered.

Use of Communications Facilities

When using the enquiry form, or any other System on the Website you should do so in accordance with the following rules: You must not use obscene or vulgar language; You must not submit Content that is unlawful or otherwise objectionable. This includes, but is not limited to, Content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, ageist, sexist or racist; You must not submit Content that is intended to promote or incite violence; It is advised that submissions are made using the English language as we may be unable to moderate any other languages; The means by which you identify yourself must not violate these Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws; You must not impersonate other people, particularly employees and representatives of Image on Food; and You must not use our System for unauthorised mass-communication such as “spam” or “junk mail”. You acknowledge that Image on Food reserves the right to monitor any and all communications made to us or by using our System. You acknowledge that Image on Food may retain copies of any and all communications made to us or using our System.

Changes to Policy

All content included on the website, unless uploaded by users, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of Billington’s Gingerbread. By continuing to use the website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other laws. Subject to fair use of Intellectual Property below, you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use material from the website unless otherwise indicated on the Website or unless given express written permission to do so by Billington’s Gingerbread.
